2025 Youngchangemakers Award

Calling all teenagers! Support a local charity and make a positive impact!

Successful proposals may receive up to HK$10,000 mini grant to help make a positive change in Hong Kong.

-Open to students ages 13-18

-Enrolled in a school in Hong Kong

Finalists' proposals with the most votes will receive a mini grant from the ACF. It’s a great experience to add to a college application or IB portfolio! 

Rules of Entry:

1. Application and Implementation Period: The application period will be from September 2025 until 14th November 2025 23:59PM.  The projects must be implemented between January 1, 2026 and April 30, 2026

2. Eligibility: Students aged 13-18 enrolled in a school in Hong Kong are eligible to submit proposals individually or in teams. Each participant of the competition must be living in Hong Kong during the competition period and implementation period. 

3.Participants must submit a workable project proposal that addresses at least one of the following social issue impacting beneficiaries in Hong Kong: 

• Underprivileged Youth

• Disadvantaged Communities

• Environmental Sustainability

4. Participants must propose a Hong Kong charity to work with who is vetted by ACF (list of charities provided in the form) and include in the project proposal how the partnership would work.  

5. The project idea must be original.
