BOARD OF DIRECTORS.

The Board is responsible for the strategic direction of the Foundation.  It oversees legal and fiduciary compliance, ensures responsible and prudent financial stewardship and advocates for the ACF and its work in the community.

Our Directors are passionate about charity and volunteer their time to help make the American Club Foundation a success.

COMMUNICATIONS COMMITTEE

The Communication Committee promotes all the activities, events, and programs of the Foundation. It plans and creates all content for advertising, social media, e-newsletters, press releases, and the website. We would like to thank the following committee members for volunteering their skills and time: Gwen Lockington, J'nee Easter, Tim Morrison and Yvonne Ng.

GRANT GIVING COMMITTEE

The Grant Giving Committee works with the ACF team to manage the application process for ACF grantee organizations. The committee reviews and vets all applications for funding and makes recommendations to the Foundation Board for approval. We would like to thank the following committee members for volunteering their skills and time: Amy Gunia, Carol DeMaio Caroline Spivey, Cherry Chan, Claudia Anticona, Claire Sims, J'nee Easter, Janet Wang, Jill Samelson, Jillian Lobban, Leontine Chuang, Rebecca Terner Lentchner and Sarina Chau.

PROGRAMS COMMITTEE

The Programs Committee works with the ACF team to shape all our volunteering activities and events as well as our Your Voice speaker series for the year. We would like to thank the following committee members for volunteering their skills and time: Aektha Wadhwani, Amy Gunia, Janice Tang, Jeau Kozel, Jennifer Cheung, Laura Warren, Tonya Mason and Eaven McDonald.

FINANCE COMMITTEE

The Finance [and Governance] Committee develop the ACF’s long-range financial plan and yearly operational budgets and serves as the ACF Board’s primary resource on governance issues. Furthermore, oversees financial reporting and works closely with our auditors, KPMG, in the ACF’s financial audit process.
We are grateful to KPMG for their pro bono service.

THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE AWARD COMMITTEE

The People Choice Committee works with the ACF team on all aspects of the People’s Choice Campaign, also known as the ACF Young Change Makers Award.
The committee reviews all applications and chooses the finalists from among service-oriented students from across Hong Kong. Committee members provide professional training to finalists on their pitch to the American Club members, as well as ongoing mentorship throughout the execution of their project. We would like to thank the following committee members for volunteering their skills and time: Alicia Wieser, Ashley Roukema, Christopher Burgess, Eavan McDonald, Gaynor Fu, Jane Ho, Kate Price, Molly Pedersen, Perry Lam and Rebecca Terner Lentchner.

FUNDRAISING AND EVENTS COMMITTEES

ANNUAL DINNER - This committee helps the ACF plan and execute one of our main fundraising events, the flagship Annual Dinner. We would like to thank the following committee members for volunteering their skills and time: Annie Goldman, Elena Scott, Erin Wang, Gillian Leahy, Jennifer Gotten, Jodie Munro and June Hahn.


ANNUAL CHARITY GOLF TOURNAMENT - This committee helps the ACF plan and execute our annual Charity Golf Tournament at The Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling each autumn. We would like to thank the following committee members for volunteering their skills and time: Henry Hon, Mike Elko and Tom DeMaio.
