About The Event

In this insightful session, we are pleased to announce that Derek Kwik, Board of Director at the American Club Foundation, will serve as our moderator. He will guide a panel of experts and advocates in the field, who will share their experiences, challenges, and successes in leveraging sports as a tool for positive change.


Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the critical intersection between sports and both physical and mental health, along with actionable insights on how to support and engage with these vital initiatives.

About our Panelists:


Libby Alexander is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Splash Foundation, established in 2015 to provide swimming access to adults and children from disadvantaged communities. Under her leadership, the organization has taught over 10,000 individuals to swim, trained over 600 coaches, and developed a network of advocates for universal swim access and its associated wellbeing benefits. Learning to swim transforms lives by enhancing safety, confidence, and personal growth.


Jeff Rotmeyer is the Founder and CEO of Love 21 Foundation, a charity supporting the Down syndrome and autistic community with sport, nutrition and holistic family care programs. Love 21 supports more than 500 families with a holistic  program that strives to give the neurodiverse community the very best opportunity to reach their full potential. Jeff is dedicated to living a meaningful life through social work and is passionate about making positive impact for those in need.


William Fong is the Chairman of the InspiringHK Sports Foundation, he empowers youth through sports. His latest project aims to transform public basketball courts into artistic spaces, blending his passions for community, art, and philanthropy. Kathleen Lee holds a Master of Counseling and is in her fourth year as a Guidance Counsellor at the Canadian International School of Hong Kong. She enjoys working with middle school students and is a fierce advocate for their wellbeing. Previous to her positions in international schools, Kathleen was a counsellor at Spot Children’s Therapy Centre where she supported school aged children, adolescents, parents and families.
